Mā Archanā
Born in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, in 1974, Mā Archanā spent her childhood and teenage years in India, where her father served as the Regional Director of the WHO for the Southeast Asia region. After obtaining a degree in Hotel Management from Switzerland and working there for some time, she returned to Indonesia in the late 2000s.
Shortly after meeting her spiritual mentor, Anand Krishna, she discovered her life’s calling for healing and spirituality. Over the next 20 years, she tirelessly worked as a Holistic Health Practitioner and Life Coach specializing in Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counseling.
As an Ayurveda/Yoga Lifestyle Counselor, Intuitive Healer – inheriting ancient Sundanese Shamanic practices from her great-grandmother – and hypnotherapist instructor, she dedicates her life to healing, meditation, and yoga.
She is also known as an interfaith activist, public speaker on national and international humanitarian issues, as well as holistic health. Continuously passionate about studying the mental health of the nation. Mā Archanā is also involved in several charitable, educational, and social/cultural institutions such as the National Integration Movement, Non-violent Islam Movement, Educator Forum, Psychologists and Doctors for Mother Earth, Indonesian Women’s Association for Global Peace, Happy Healthy Laughter Club, AMAYI (Indonesian Meditation Aushadh Yoga Association), YPAK (Anand Krishna Educational Foundation), and as the chairman of the board of trustees of the Anand Ashram Foundation (affiliated with the UN).
